How This Tier List Is Calculated
Most Albion Online tier lists rank weapons by opinion or theorycrafting. This one doesn't. Every weapon's position comes directly from the same combat data that powers the build rankings across this site: real wins and losses recorded from thousands of PvP encounters, refreshed every 2 hours.
To keep low-sample weapons from skewing the results, each weapon's raw win rate is pulled toward the server-wide average in proportion to how many real matches back it up. A weapon with only a handful of recorded fights won't outrank one with a long track record just because of a lucky streak.
